Tension bands are an offset strip of metal-shaped to fit around the terminal post and used with a carriage bolt and nut to attach the tension bar to the post. These bands are made from 14 ga x 3/4 in steel. This gauge band is used in residential and other light duty applications. A 5/16 in x 1-1/4 in carriage bolt is used. Carriage bolt and nut sold separately.
