Southern Pine, Kiln Dried After Treatment, D & Better grade lumber. Often described as an 8 ft, 1 x 4 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 3/4 in thick by 3-1/2 in wide. Appearance notes: Tongue & Groove.

Southern Pine lumber has been popular since Colonial times and consists of four main species: longleaf, loblolly, shortleaf and slash; design values for Southern Pine are comparable to other softwood species used in residential and commercial construction
When appearance is more of a factor, D Grade will contain smaller, fewer, tight, sound knots and is virtually wane-free. It is most commonly used in applications requiring a fine finish such as flooring and wall paneling.
Kiln dried after treatment- original Kiln Dried moisture content of 19% or less; all the weather-beating durability you demand from treated wood, yet it's dried in a kiln, which dramatically reduces shrinking, checking and warping.
